• O.T. Dane (Shirley 2013 – present) clocks 49.89 over the 400m at the Notts Champs. This is a new under 17 College record and breaks Simon Heggie’s 50.23 from 1992 when he finished 4th at the England Schools Champs.

2014

• O.T. Dane (Shirley 2013 – present) goes one better than 2013 and finishes 4th at the England Schools under 17 800m with a new PB and College under 17 record (1:55.97) with still another year in the age group
• H. Haith (Pelham 2009-2014) jumps 1.88 in the high jump – the best high jumping at Worksop for a number of years

2013

• O.T. Dane (Shirley 2013-present) had a rather good season, setting College under 15 records at 300m (38.1), 400m (53.2), 800m (1:57.5) and 1500m (4:10.2)
• The 400m record of 55.6 had been held by M.R. Woodcock (Pelham 1955-1960) since 1956 when he finished 5th at White City. The 800m and 1500m records had been held by Jack Buckner since 1976. Oli’s 800m time also betters Jack Buckner’s intermediate 800m record from 1978 (1:58.4).
• Oli went on to finish 5th at the England Schools junior 1500m (the same placing as Jack Buckner in 1976 – but a few seconds quicker)

2012

• M. Kwok (Talbot 2009-2011) jumps 14.03 in the triple jump at College sports – a 75cm improvement on the previous record held by S.D. Foster (Mountgarret 1983-1988)
• 16 year old H. Haith (Pelham 2009-2014) runs 11.15 in the 100m at Moorways Stadium, thus eclipsing the College under 17 record of 11.20 previously set by S.D. Heggie (Portland 1989-1994) in 1992 .

2010

• M. Lambley (Shirley 2001-2006) wins the hammer at the Loughborough International athletics meeting with a personal best of 71.70 which puts him in the top ten UK hammer throwers of all-time. Matt also competed in the Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, India and the European Under 23 Champs

• W.R.G. Foster (Portland 1971-1975) wins the 3000m at the World Masters Indoor Champs in Kamloops, Canada

• Matt Lambley (Shirley 2001-2006) wins the England Schools senior hammer title in 64.02 and finished 2nd in the junior AAAs with 67.34
